NCMB XI proudly accompanies its champion LMC the TADECO Bananeros’ Family Circle – Labor-Management Cooperation (TBF Circle-LMC) at the stage, being conferred with the Outstanding Plaque by this year’s national board of judges for the 2013 Search for Outstanding Labor-Management Cooperation for Industrial Peace.
Tagum Agricultural Development Company, Inc. (TADECO) brings Region XI to the top spot of this year’s Search for Outstanding Labor-Management Cooperation for Industrial Peace.
The TADECO Bananeros’ Family Circle – Labor-Management Cooperation (TBF Circle-LMC) with its best practices has been successful in transcending industrial peace and spurring productivity and workplace safety.
TADECO’s LMC is consistent in its implementation of various programs on productivity and family welfare, to name a few, thru its 8 sub-committees which resulted into a more fruitful partnership and labor-management relations.
Twenty organizations (18 unionized and 5 non-unionized) completed this year’s list of national finalists out of 32 entries, where only 3 out of 18 unionized and 3 out of 5 non-unionized stood out as the best Labor-Management Cooperation. TADECO shares the highest spot with Hedcor, Inc. and Taganito Mining Corporation to receive plaque and top cash prize at the awarding, held at the Grand Men Seng Hotel last November 28, 2013.
The 2013 Search for Outstanding Labor-Management Cooperation for Industrial Peace is organized as a biennial event by the Philippine League of Labor-Management Cooperation Practitioners Inc. (PHILAMCOP) in coordination with the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB). Tadeco, together with another company, represented Region XI in this national search.
TADECO was also awarded a special citation for Corporate Social Responsibility when it first joined the search in 2011.
