A community within Tagum Agricultural Development Company, (TADECO) Inc., received its latest awards from the Department of Health with its solid support to the DOH’s National Blood Program. The barangay is a consistent awardee of the National Sandugo Award and is just recently declared as National Champion “Sandugo Outstanding Local Government Unit” for its exemplary performance as “Best LGU” for the medium category at the 15th National Sandugo Awards held at the Heritage Hotel Manila last September 25, 2013. Its victory paved way to achieving its 5th “Sandugo Outstanding Local Government Executive Hall of Fame” award as it strengthens its advocacy on the said program. Aside from receiving a champion’s plaque, Brgy. AO Floirendo also received a cash award worth Php 200,000.00.
Brgy. AO Floirendo partners with TADECO in the implementation of the barangay’s health programs. The two organizations – public and private, had proven their effective partnership by receiving various awards from the government and private sectors. In fact, TADECO had been hailed as one of the Top 25 Healthiest Workplaces in the Philippines, by the Department of Health in the past years.
