Hon. Mayor Lolita Moral of Municipality of Dujali, together with Barangay Captain Adhem Fura and Barangay Kagawad Juan Ferrariz, Renato Magbanua, and Roberto Solomon Jr. are gathered in Dujali Municipality gymnasium last August 20, 2011, Saturday to extend their support for the launching of MOM’s Mobile Library Project in their area. Margie on the Move or MOM has been working their way to different barangays and municipalities in Mindanao to reach children in need of education through book reading and fun-filled games and activities for pre-school children.
The mobile library project was participated by approximately 260 pre-schoolers from five different daycares namely D6 daycare, Poblacion, Bacali, Talisay, and Pawas in Dujali, Davao del Norte. The children were in company of their parents and guardians who are all thankful for the Mobile Library Project in Dujali.
To give the attendees a preview of what the Mobile Library Project is all about, Margie Moran-Floirendo’s secretary Leda Jacinto took a moment to speak about how the project started and how it continuously aim to educate and develop child learning. Mobile Library Project has also become an opportunity for the youth volunteers; Teofilo Morales, Mark Malhalin, Mark Morado, Cyril Capin, and Job Laguren to be instruments of change by reaching out to as many children as possible through volunteerism.

To demonstrate the key features of the project, Former Miss Universe Margie Moran-Floirendo personally came to read a story to children and taught every parent what they need to know about child learning. She also performed an action dance for the children and parents to see. Margie Moran Floirendo’s participation provided the parents and children a personal venue to know more about the project and to appreciate more the importance of inculcation of knowledge to children as young as pre-school through book reading and other activities.
The children and parents also enjoyed not only with Margie Moran Floirendo’s personal appearance but also of the intermission numbers by parents and daycare teachers, fun games with prizes, on-the-spot drawing contest, and delectable merienda prepared by the MOM and its sponsors namely Antonio O. Floirendo Foundation, Congressman Antonio F. Lagdameo, and FABC President Vincent Floirendo.
